I support families and their dogs - from puppies to seniors - by offering integrative solutions that consider the whole dog.

My approach is holistic and incorporates my education and experience in dog training, canine massage, biomechanics, exercise therapy and Reiki. I volunteer at least two hours each week at our local shelter to support the dogs who are in-between their forever homes. Working with their dedicated teams I am a partner in providing enrichment and supporting nervous system health in a challenging environment. In exchange, these dogs teach me and remind me what is truly important and just how resilient they are.

I work with dogs, not on them, fostering trust, communication, and well-being.

My certifications are recognized and in good standing with the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and the International Association of Animal Massage and Body Work (IAAMB)
Ideal for preventing and treating chronic pain (e.g. arthritis and osteoarthritis) as well as some acute circumstances including cruciate surgery recovery, sub-luxated patella, hip dysplasia, etc.. Mobile in-home appointments combine Galen Myotherapy including massage, myofascial release, Reiki and functional movement exercises to support mobility in Elmvale and surrounding areas.
Choose from three plans giving you the option for single or packaged appointments.

private early puppy lessons
(Dogs UNDER 5 months)
In-Home appointments for families with puppies under 5 months old. Covering topics like puppy biting, house training, puppy socialization, and how to lay foundations for positive reinforcement training. Lisa will leave you feeling confident, prepared and supported. Puppies really are exhausting!

The average client books 1-2 appointments and feel they have what they need.

As a way to offer an affordable option to families, I partner with local Pet Valu stores to offer high quality Private In-Person appointments.
My strategies are grounded in positive reinforcement dog training.
We do use treats - as much as we have to and as little as we need to!

About Lisa’s Galen Myotherapy & Reiki Certifications:
Lisa completed her formal Level 3 Diploma with Galen Myotherapy UK (canine massage and exercise therapy), including a rigorous practical component in the United Kingdom. She studied Reiki locally under the guidance of Reiki Master Natasha Smyth of Soul Centred Therapeutics. Lisa is also recognized by the International Association of Animal Massage and Body Work (IAAMB). Lisa is currently working on additional certifications in Canine Kinesiology Taping and Canine Craniosacral Therapy through Holistic Animal Studies (accredited by the IAAMB).
My mission at Kinder K9 Mind & Motion is to keep dogs out of shelters as a result of behavior challenges that statistically lead more often to abandonment or surrender into the shelter system. I am doing this by educating and supporting families to recognize that the needs of our canine companions are complex and varied - there are no three steps to success or one-size-fits-all solutions. we always need to consider Body, Mind and Spirit.
